If buying your Asus charger by its part number, there are 2 different types of part number available.

The Asus part number always starts 0A001- and it is the best way to search for your replacement power adapter as its always the exact same specification and will always be correct, for example the 0A001-01100700 is always the 19V 2.37a with a 4mm x 1.35mm diameter connector tip.

The second way is the most common as these stand out more on the charger and it’s the manufacturers part number, for example if you were to search ADP-65GD B, then this would be the correct voltage and amp of 19v 3.42a, however the manufacturers use this same ADP-65GD B code on 3 different ac adapters, so if you search via manufacturer part number, then you need to also know the connector tip size, this is the outside and inside diameter of the connector tip or barrel and in the case of the ADP-65GD B, then it could be 5.5mm x 2.5mm, 4mm x 1.35mm or 4.5mm x 3mm with a pin located in its centre.

So, to recap if you the part number starting 0A001, then this is always correct, if you use any other part number for numbers for Asus, you also need to know the connector tip size.
